Career Experience
I have experience working as a teacher and tutor in district, charter and private schools for many years. My career and training is in education from pre-k -6th grade with a focus on English Language Arts (literacy, literature, writing etc.) and social studies. I have written and implemented sequenced unit and lesson plans in these areas for individual students as well as for entire grade cohorts. My experiences in education and higher education degree have provided me with an understanding of the skills necessary to teach and be a successful student. Therefore, I can support students at the undergraduate level as well particularly in College English and Early Childhood Education.

I have a passion for helping students connect with the material in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them so that they can reach their full potential.
